The Circle 1 Living Framework
You know exactly what you want to finish.
Your nervous system has other plans.
The SPARK Persona Quiz names your pattern and gives you the mechanical tools to interrupt it.
- You opened the email seven times this week. You still have not replied to it.
- You took the new title in October. You have not introduced yourself with it once.
- You spent an hour Sunday optimizing your morning routine. You hit snooze twice Monday.
- You said "I'm fine, just busy" to the third person who asked this week. The third one was your mom.
- You stood up at the end of a meeting last week. Three people you outrank were watching. You sat back down because for half a second you forgot you got to lead.
We know. We have a folder of unsent contest entries to prove it. Brandon's calendar still has "finish the prologue" on it from 2021.
You read that last line and thought, hm, this one looks different. We have been you. That is not a flaw — it is a pattern. And patterns, when you can name them, can change.
Take the 3-minute SPARK quiz →Five percent of people live from their center.
The 95% who never finish the thing that matters most are not lazier or less talented than the 5% who do. They never found a system for handling the alarm underneath. The reason you keep not doing it is not a lack of discipline. The alarm is older than language. And it can be rewired.
The SPARK Personas
Five names. Four families of noise. One alarm.
One of these is yours. Probably two.
You have written the same paragraph nine times. It is not better. You know it is not better. You are going to write it a tenth time tomorrow.
Standard-Setter
Someone asked if you needed anything last Tuesday. You said no. You have needed something since March.
Provider
You have four notebooks, three apps, and a voice memo from October that you have not listened to. Each one felt like the real start.
Adventurer
You finished it. The whole thing. You told one person — maybe. It is still sitting in a folder with a name only you would recognize.
Reserved
The last person who gave you feedback was trying to help. You spent the next three days explaining, in your head, exactly why they were wrong.
Knight
Freezes in preparation. Edits Chapter One instead of writing Chapter Two.
Gives everything away. Everyone else's needs become the reason not to start.
Chases the next thing. The new idea is always more interesting than the one at page 80.
Goes quiet when it counts. Finishes the work and puts it in a drawer.
Fights when it isn't a fight. Treats every critique like a cross-examination.
One alarm underneath all of them.
Don't pick the one you want to be.
Notice the one your body picks for you.

Coming SoonLorraine & Brandon Cover
We noticed that books meant to help people tended to be the books people never finished. Too dry. Too clinical. Too much like homework.
So we wrote the one we wanted to read — something fun, engaging, and built around a story you actually follow, with principles woven in that work whether you're writing a book, changing careers, or just trying to finish what you keep starting.
Lorraine brings the heart and the creative instinct. Brandon brings the process and the framework. We have spent our lives helping people, and we finally put that into a form we are proud of.
We did not write this from a hilltop.

Questions you are already asking
The honest answers.
Is this another self-help framework?
It is a framework. Whether it counts as "self-help" depends on whether you have read forty self-help books and felt worse after each one — which we have. The difference is this one names a nervous-system pattern and gives you something to do when the pattern fires. It is not vibes. It is not affirmations. It is closer to a manual than a pep talk.
Do I have to take the quiz to get anything out of this?
No. The quiz is the fastest way to know your pattern, but you can read the prologue free or sit on the presale waitlist and start with the book in July. Some people want the diagnosis first. Some want the story first. Both work.
I am not a writer. Is this still for me?
The framework is universal. The first book applies it to writers because that is where we lived it. The next three apply it to nurses, teachers, and the universal practitioner — because those are rooms we have also stood in. If you have a thing you keep not doing that matters to you, this framework is for you.
How is this different from therapy?
It is not a substitute for therapy. If you are in therapy, this gives you vocabulary to bring to your next session. If you are not, this gives you a map you can read on your own. We are not therapists. We are two people who needed a framework and built the one we could not find.
What does it cost?
The quiz is free. The prologue is free. The Founding Readers community is free. The book ships July 7, 2026 — Founding Readers get a signed copy with extras at presale price. Nothing on this site requires a credit card today.
